Greenpharma Bio-focused Extract Library™ - GPB

The Greenpharma bio-focused extract library is a plant extract library that results from Greenpharma approach of pharmacognosy and reverse pharmacognosy and the use of its whole technical platform. This includes the access to our proprietary virtual screening tool Selnergy™ and our natural compound database, Greenpharma know-how in ethnobotany, botany, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, organic chemistry and analytical chemistry.

Applications: hit & lead discovery, botanicals discovery.

GPB is focused on a therapeutic domain of our partner’s interest. Moreover, strict criteria are applied to select each plant that will enter GPB. They are diversity in traditional sources, biotope and taxonomy. Plants mentionned in scientific publications for the studied domain are discarded to avoid IP problems.

GPB is presented in a format suitable for HTS. A microplate of extracts is made of 96 wells, 80 of which are filled with products. The columns A01-H01 and A12-H12 are empty. These columns are often used as controls in HTS procedures. Each of the 80 wells contains 2 mg of extract diluted in 200 µL of DMSO. This high concentration easily allows dilutions in order to avoid the side toxicity effect of DMSO.

GPB is provided under a one-year subscription. 120 original plants are selected and formatted into 6 microplates containing 4 extracts in different polarity solvents for each plant.
